Dr Sheena Cotter
Sheena is an evolutionary ecologist, working to uncover the costs and benefits of parasite defence mechanisms, using insects as models. These defences range from behavioural through to molecular, can act externally or internally and can even be deployed for the defence of others. She examines how animals balance these costs under different environmental and social contexts. (more info).

Dr Iain Stott
Iain works with mathematical models, statistical analysis, big(-ish) data and develops new software. His research understands how environmental and human disturbances to ecological system structures affects their resilience and their function over time and across space. |
Dr Teresa Romero
Teresa has broad research interests within animal behaviour, but is particularly interested in the regulation of social relationships in primates, carnivores and other animals. Teresa explores aspects of conflict resolution, cooperation, social cognition, and empathy-related behaviours from both ultimate and proximate perspectives. |
Dr Csanad Bachrati
Csanad is a highly experienced molecular biologist / cell biologist, who studies the function of proteins involved in the maintenance of genome integrity. He also teach a number of subjects (genetics, molecular biology, DNA biochemistry, cancer biology, ageing biology) in the School of Life Sciences at the University of Lincoln.
